Report: Tottenham Midfielder Wants Out; PSG Ready to Pounce

Paris Saint-Germain will be adding a midfielder at some point over the summer, but the mystery surrounding which player they’ll go after remains up in the air.

Leonardo, PSG’s sporting director, is reportedly keen on going after Lazio’s Sergej Milinković-Savić, but it seems as though he will get some push back as manager Thomas Tuchel seems to prefer Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

PSG’s rumored interest in Ndombele surfaced last March, which is surprising considering the Frenchman joined the North London club from Olympique Lyonnais in July of 2019. Despite that, reports of a departure have begun to pick up steam as the 23-year-old wants out, according to Le Parisien.

Although many supporters of the capital club would want to see Ndombele make to move Paris, he might not be in the plans of Leonardo as the 23-year-old checks in at 5’11, and PSG needs a more physically imposing presence in the midfield.  Continue reading
