Seven fragments

When the Olympics were canceled, she turned her nose to the surgeon and got cleaned up. Then she didn’t know how bad it was.

– I did not know that I have had so many breaks in my nose. I knew the nose was broken. I was in the hospital quickly after the championship to straighten the nose to get it nice again. In a short period it was actually quite good, but then it has in a way only worsened after I broke his crack in place. I did not know that I had seven offenses, says Løke.

At the surgeon it turned out that the operation was reasonably complicated.

– Especially the fracture that was healed up where the nose meets the forehead, which in one way had the nasal bone germinated firmly under the forehead. So he had to break it up again in order to be able to completely correct his nose.

The striker won the series with Vipers before the handball involuntarily paused, claiming she has not known any pain, even though she has referred to the nose as “an accordion”.

Spread in the gums

The worst thing is having our sleep.

– I wake up at night and am very dry in my mouth because I just breathe through my mouth. It has in one way burst into the gums because it has been so dry.

The season run with Vipers starts July 20. Since the handball season was early inflated, she has had a long break so the nose can heal.

– I haven’t had anything in my nose. I have only known that neither breath has been completely normal. The system has not worked completely, but I have skipped intervals and played whole matches without even thinking about it.

– Has it had any consequences for your game?

– No, but I know it. And he the surgeon, after all, meant that I was going to recover for that now, since I have the training only by breathing with my mouth.
