Juventus midfielder Simone Muratore has officially signed with Atalanta. “This is a great opportunity for me.”
The official announcement on the club’s website confirms the transfer of 22-year-old Muratore, who led Juventus U23 to Coppa Italia’s triumph over Ternana.
He will be available for Gian Piero Gasperini from next season and looks forward to working for his new coach in Bergamo.
“Atalanta is a great opportunity for me and I intend to do my best to repay the trust they have placed in me,” he said on the club’s website. “What Atalanta is doing in the league and in Europe is obvious to everyone.
“Now I can’t wait to work with Mr. Gasperini and my new teammates.”
Juventus also confirmed the deal on its official website: “Juventus Football Club SpA announces that we have entered into an agreement with Atalanta BCSpA to permanently transfer the sports rights of player Simone Muratore for a fee of € 7 million over a period of time to be paid by four years.
“This transaction has a positive economic effect of approx. € 6.8 million net after costs.”
