Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham transfer goals

Norwich found life in the Premier League difficult to adapt and currently sits six drifting points at the bottom of the table.

The Canaries face an uphill struggle to secure their flagship status for another year, with travel to Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City still on the horizon.

Daniel Farke has a huge job to do to keep Norwich in the Premier League

However, it wasn’t all bad for Norwich supporters, who witnessed some moments to savor this season – most notably the 3-2 win over Pep Guardiola’s men on Carrow Road in September.

On the board that day was Todd Cantwell, who together with Emi Buendia, was the key to the open and offensive Canarian playing style.

They are not the only two young stars who have impressed this season, and in view of the Norwich trip to the Emirates on Wednesday evening – which is LIVE on talkSPORT – we have cast our eyes on the talents who are destined to remain in the Premier League – although Canary descend.

One thing is certain: Norwich will not be required to redeem any of its most valuable assets.

After all, they sold Leicester and England, James Maddison, at a cost of over £ 20 million when they were a championship club.

Max Aarons – Possible destination: Tottenham

The city’s Academy graduate has been constantly connected to big moves throughout the season, with some of the biggest British clubs expressing interest in signing the talented defender.

The spurs have been linked with the 20-year-old more than most, although Arsenal, a rival in North London, has received an interest.

Mikel Arteta is reportedly intending to add a right-back to his ranks, with Aarons adjusting to the bill, but the Gunners appear to have been excluded from an agreement.

Norwich wants around £ 30 million if it wants to separate from Aaron, even if it is relegated.

Emi Buendia – Possible destination: Leeds or Liverpool

The Argentine has been Daniel Farke’s most consistent actor this season and that form has not gone unnoticed.

The 23-year-old winger has made 30 Premier League appearances this season, with the league promotion chasing Leeds the most recent club to be connected to.

At this point it seems likely that his current part and whites will swap divisions, and with compatriot Marcelo Bielsa in command on Elland Road which would certainly be an enticing move for Buendia to consider.

Liverpool are reportedly keeping Buendia and team-mate Jamal Lewis under close control too, so if the champions came to call it would certainly be impossible to refuse their progress.

Jamal Lewis – Possible destination: Leicester or Crystal Palace

As mentioned earlier, Lewis has also been on Jurgen Klopp’s radar, but it is a switch to another high-level Premier League outfit that seems the most likely prospect.

Leicester’s recruitment under manager Brendan Rodgers has been extraordinarily impressive, with the Foxes on pole to secure fourth place this season.

The prospect of football in the Champions League and a regular starting place would be something that would certainly appeal to Lewis.

With Ben Chilwell apparently increasingly likely to join Frank Lampard at Chelsea, he would leave the left-back position standing.

The 22 year old would be the perfect replacement for international England and would likely cost around £ 20 million.

If foxes pursue a move, they will almost certainly face competition from Crystal Palace, which has long been a fan of the talented young man.

Todd Cantwell – Possible destination: Liverpool or Manchester United

It seems a question of when, and not if, the vibrant midfielder will move to new pastures.

While Cantwell has failed to replicate the extraordinary form he has shown at the start of the season during 2020 so far, he has given everyone a timely reminder of the raw talent he possesses with a brilliant goal against Manchester United over the weekend.

Nicknamed an ‘exceptional, exceptional talent’ by former Canarian frontman Chris Sutton, Cantwell literally has the world at his feet.

Liverpool are reportedly thrilled with the offensive young midfielder, with Adam Lallana leaving Anfield at the end of the season and Xherdan Shaqiri is expected to follow.

Norwich is believed to value Cantwell at around £ 30 million, and while it is contracted with them until 2022, relegation to the British second tier would almost certainly mean the end of his tenure on Carrow Road.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hasn’t hidden his desire to build a team of young, hungry, British players at Old Trafford – and Cantwell would definitely adapt to this model.
