It was top to bottom in Bodø when the home team Glimt went for their fourth straight win in the season start against pointless Sarpsborg. Nevertheless, it was not the overpass many had envisioned.

For Sarpsborg, without any of his creative powers, he started from the start and managed with a solid defense to keep away from Bodø / Glimt’s explosive attack early in the match.

Then goalkeeper David Mitov Nilsson lost out. Sarpsborg’s goalkeeper missed a post and was penalized by Jens Petter Hauge and Bodø / Glimt.

Sarpsborg also got a count when substitutes Ole Jørgen Halvorsen equalized eight minutes after he came in for right-back Sulayman Bojang for a break.

Still, it was not enough to stop Bodø / Glimts victory. Shortly thereafter, Fredrik Bjørkan got the ball to Ulrik Saltnes in the box. He secured the victory for Glimt who controlled virtually the entire match.

– Today I think we make a solid performance based on what we decided. Nevertheless, it is also important to be good in the crucial situations. We let in a single shot and burst too easily on their 2-1 goal, summed up Sarpsborg coach Mikael Stahre for Eurosport.

In Molde, former Stabæk profile Ola Brynhildsen was visited by old teammates. The 21-year-old’s transition recently put the feelings in the booth of the club’s supporters.

On Sunday, Brynhildsen started on the bench. From there, he saw Magnus Wolff Eikrem, substitutes Erling Knudtzon and Leke James score against the old club – before Ohi Omoijuanfo set the final score to 4-1 on the penalty kick.

For Stabæk, it did little good that Hugo Vetlesen reduced to 1-3 after just over a quarter out in the second half.

Nine minutes before the end, said Brynhildsen was sent on the field.

Kristiansund in flow

Kristiansund refuses to lose so far in this year’s elite series season. Sunday came the second victory of the season when Mjøndalen was defeated 2-1 in a strong way on the away field.

Liridon Kalludra and Amahl Pellegrino scored each time, before Shuaibu Lalle Ibrahim reduced for Mjøndalen.

Lars Bohinens Aalesund, for his part, has struggled in the season opening, but so long seemed to get a welcome victory on the away track against Strømsgodset on Sunday. Sigurd Haugen’s 1-0 scoring came after half an hour’s play. Just before the end, Mikkel Maigaard equalized on penalty.

The settlement between Sandefjord and Haugesund was settled before the break. Kristoffer Velde scored the only goal of the match after only 15 minutes of play.
