With our Shams Charania reporting that the window for NBA teams to sign players for the Orlando bubble will take place from noon ET on June 23rd to midnight on June 30th, the flag has risen over a short free-agency season.
Expect that several teams will benefit from this. For beginners, of the 22 teams that will resume playing in Orlando, eight have free places (Denver, LA Clippers, Memphis, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Portland, Sacramento and San Antonio). Additionally, many others could easily create commercials by releasing fungible players – New Orleans, for example, still has Darius Miller out of season on its list.
