The 28-year-old defender has received permission from his new club Borussia Dortmund to participate in the Final 8 of the champion ball in Lisbon with the French team in August. According to the Belgian sports channel Sporza Meunier has considered the offer.
Lucrative contract
The Belgian previously announced that he did not want a contract extension with PSG for two months. Meunier recently signed a lucrative four-year deal as a transfer-free player with Dortmund, which was eliminated by the Paris club in the eighth finals of the Champions League.
The national competition for PSG has long since ended. The season in France ended early in April due to the corona crisis. For PSG, however, the French cup final still awaits this summer on July 24 against Saint-Étienne and the final of the League Cup on July 31 against Olympique Lyon.
After that, the French club, which was still declared the national champion, travels to Portugal for the mini tournament in the Champions League.
