As reported by Corriere dello Sporttomorrow’s away game at Genoa will be McTominay’s 15th consecutive Serie A match as a starter, the 28th in a row for club and country.
The former Manchester United star, scorer of nine goals in 33 appearances across all competitions this season, is the Napoli player with the most minutes played (2.801). More than captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo (2.751) and even goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, with 2.430.

McTominay is also the outfield player with the most game time in Serie A after Juventus’ Pierre Kalulu. Considering the top five leagues in Europe, only Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszlai (2.948) and Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez (2.866) have had more minutes than the Serie A pair across all competitions this term.
