Porto explores construction with rental and purchase option for Ngonge

In Portugal it has been reported that FC Porto has been working more intensively on the possible arrival of Ngonge in recent hours. Coach Francesco Farioli’s club is looking at a formula in which the player is first rented, with an option to purchase. According to the same sources, this option may become mandatory under certain conditions.

Ngonge is currently on loan at Torino, but is still under contract with Napoli until 2028. Torino would be willing to end the rental period early because the attacker has not delivered what was expected so far. The Italian club signed him last summer at the request of trainer Marco Baroni, but his impact remained limited.

The total value of the possible deal is estimated in Portuguese media at approximately 15 million euros. Porto would therefore consider a significant investment in the 23-year-old wing attacker.

Lazio remains an alternative route for Ngonge

In addition to Porto, Lazio is also mentioned as a possible destination, reports transfer journalist Nicolo Schira. In Rome, an exchange construction is being considered in which Ngonge would leave for Lazio and Tijjani Noslin would make the opposite move. According to Italian reports, that avenue is still being investigated, but is currently less advanced than Porto’s interest.

The situation around Ngonge is therefore evolving rapidly. Both Napoli’s attitude and Torino’s willingness to terminate the current agreement play an important role in this. The coming days should make it clear which direction the file is heading. For now, Porto seems the most determined to push through, but a final decision has not yet been made.
