The classic version has been improved. Since its first introduction in 2001, the globally popular POWER CUSHION 65 Z has been celebrated as Yonex’s all-round badminton shoe. The new POWER CUSHION 65 Z offers four different fit options: Slim (slim fit), Women (women’s), Men (men’s) and Wide (wide).
To ensure a pressure-free fit, the structure and technology of the shoe has been optimized to provide a secure and comfortable hold during intense movements. The sole height has been reduced to improve sprinting power and enhance athletes’ performance. POWER CUSHION+ technology in the midsole remains the core technology that converts every movement into energy for the next step. Power Graphite Lite has been used at the base of the sole to ensure a lightweight feel and better landing stability.
The new generation of the POWER CUSHION 65 Z was presented for the first time at the BWF World Tour Finals 2024 and was worn by athletes such as Kunlavut Vitidsarn (Thailand), Aaron Chia, Soh Wooi Yik (Malaysia), Jiang Zhen Bang and Wei Ya Xin (China).
