Soteldo (Fluminense)
Lots of expectations, little delivery. The Venezuelan striker only scored his first goals in the penultimate round, in “Lei do Ex” against Grêmio, six months after being introduced. Soteldo was heavily criticized by Fluminense fans, not only for his poor performances, but for having been a character in the team’s notable defeats during the season.
Billal Brahimi (Santos)
Hired as a gamble, Brahimi did not fall into Vojvoda’s favor and barely played for Santos. He only played in the 2-2 draw with Red Bull Bragantino, but only had 20 minutes on the field. He continued to be involved in matches, without acting. The contract runs until the end of 2026.
Biel (Atlético-MG)
The signing was on loan, a fact that may mitigate the disappointment. The problem is that Biel was very bad at Galo, especially in decisive moments. He played 24 games with the Galo shirt in 2025, but only scored one goal and distributed two assists. The failures in the Copa Sudamericana final also mark the passage in a negative light.
Gabriel Verón (Youth)
Another one who arrived on loan and didn’t make it. Verón belongs to Porto, but is still trying to find the football presented at Palmeiras, the best of his career. It wasn’t at Juventude, where he played 22 games and didn’t participate in goals. The team from Caxias do Sul was relegated to Series B and should not keep the striker.
