The Sydney Swans have confirmed they are aware of “very serious” allegations against young striker Elijah Taylor, involving the woman he broke COVID-19 bubble logs against.
Sydney released a statement Saturday night saying it knew about the Post and subsequently informed the AFL.
Taylor was suspended for violating Hub Protocols last month, now to see the woman at the center of new allegations, which are troubling in nature.

“The Sydney Swans are aware of allegations made on social media against Elijah Taylor, the first year player,” the club said in a statement.
“The allegations are very serious and will be treated as such.
“The club has notified the AFL and is currently unable to make any further comments.”
Taylor was banned from the league for the remainder of the AFL season last month, with the Swans fined $ 50,000, half of which was banned.
The 19-year-old has stayed in Perth to spend quality time with his family while his teammates are in Cairns.
