The Association of Sports Federations of Castilla y León, in collaboration with the Diputación de León, held in Astorga, the third sport fair that have been held during the summer throughout the province, as an alternative of leisure among young people in summer. Half thousand boys and girls have enjoyed the different sports that took place on Mérida Pérez Avenue, in a pedestrian environment located between the Cathedral and the Gaudí Palace.
Astorga was attended by the Athletics, Bádminton, Handball, Boxing, Fencing, Speleology, Football, Hockey, hockey federations, native games, karate, skating, petanca, rugby, tennis and rescue and lifeguard, through the clubs of the province. Federated technicians introduced participants in the 15 disciplines and provided them with the necessary material to carry out the different activities.
A DJ encouraged the fair at all times and small athletes to participate and rotate for all the disciplines that were structured in the form of a yincana, from five to nine in the afternoon. Before that time Afedecyl made raffles and awards provided by the Diputación de León.
And all in a city that bets on sport with the City Council as one of its flag bearers and that this time in the hand of the Association of Sports Federations of Castilla y León and the Diputación added a day of the healthiest.
