The striker’s contract situation means Juventus has the potential to struggle financially next year.
Dusan Vlahovic is one of the reasons why Juventus has appeared impressive in the Italian Serie A this season, recording 17 matches without defeat before falling to Inter Milan last weekend.
The player from Serbia scored five goals in the last four top-flight matches in Italian football, making him second in the list of top scorers with a total of 12 goals.

However, behind Vlahovic’s glory, the Old Lady’s management is confused by the player’s contract situation.
Currently, the former Fiorentina man earns €8 million per season, increasing to €12 million starting in July. With two and a half years remaining on his contract, this will make Juventus experience financial difficulties.
TMW reported that Juve will try to ‘get around’ this situation by offering Vlahovic a contract extension so that the player’s annual salary can be less, possibly €10 million per season with a longer duration.
The problem is, Vlahovic will not necessarily accept the contract offer and stay with his current contract until his term of service ends.
