On Sunday, Sky and Kicker reported that Leverkusen had agreed on a long-term contract with Garcia. The midfielder and captain of Girona has a fixed release clause of 15 million euros in his contract, which runs until 2026.
Garcia is considered a passing machine and is set to become the fourth top man alongside Granit Xhaka (31), Robert Andrich (29) and Exequiel Palacios (25) for the double six.
