Golf’s LIV Tour makes its first ever stop in Orlando, Florida, and this new destination seems to smile on a very underrated team. Sebastian Munoz of Torque GC established himself on top after a round on Friday.

The Colombian delivered an excellent card of 62 (-9) to take the lead by two shots, his closest pursuer being the Briton Richard Bland. Munoz started the competition with a bang with an eagle at 14e pennant, his first of the day. He added eight birdies to his record, making his only misstep – a bogey – at the seventh flag.
The 30-year-old golfer is one of the new players on the LIV circuit in 2023. He will try to lead the Torque GC led by captain Joaquin Niemann to a first victory. Their joint total of -13 places them in second place, behind the Smash GC (-14).
Brooks Koepka, the leader of this team, is in third place at -6. He’s trying this weekend to become the first two-time tournament winner in championship history. His brother, Chase, also had a good day with a score of -4.
The other two rounds of the Orlando tournament will take place on Saturday and Sunday, on the TVA Sports network.
