The Indonesian U-20 national team player, Muhammad Dzaky (left), is fighting for the ball during a trial against Cakallikli Spor at the Kempinski Hotel Football Field, Antalya, Turkey, October 24, 2022.

BOLASPORT.COM – Indonesian U-20 national team winger, Dzaky Asraf, has the opportunity to be promoted to the senior national team.

The reason is, Dzaky’s name is included in the list of 28 players who are included in the Indonesian national team training camp (TC) in Bali ahead of the 2022 AFF Cup.

Interestingly, the journey for this young PSM Makassar player to break into the Garuda squad is not an easy one.

Ahead of TC’s departure for Turkey, PSM coach Bernardo Tavares has not expressly given permission to his team.

In fact, Dzaky almost failed to leave because a few days earlier he was still training with the Juku Eja team.

At that time, this Portuguese coach had an unpleasant experience when he released PSM players to the long TC of the Indonesian national team.

This problem started with Ricky Pratama, Rafli Asrul, and Edgard Amping who joined the Indonesian U-19 national team ahead of the U-19 AFF Cup last June.

Returning to PSM, these three players failed to make the maximum contribution when they appeared in the 2022/2023 League 1.
