AFF Requests that Two Matches of the Indonesian National Team Can Use Spectators

BOLASPORT.COM – AFF envoy, Sri Francisco Kalbuadi Lay, held a meeting with the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora), Zainudin Amali, at the Kemenpora Office, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Friday (18/11/2022).

During the meeting, there were several discussions, one of which was the hope that the match for the Indonesian national team in the 2022 AFF Cup could be held with spectators.

Sri Francisco Kalbuadi Lay made the visit to discuss and seek additional information because the Indonesian football competition was stopped due to the Kanjuruhan Tragedy.

He is also worried that this condition will have an impact on the 2022 AFF Cup later.

As is known, the 2022 AFF Cup will be held from 20 December 2022 to 16 January 2023.

In this tournament, each country plays two home games and two away games.

The Indonesian National Team is in Group A along with defending champions Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia and Brunei Darussalam.

The Indonesian national team is scheduled to host Cambodia on 23 December 2022 and Thailand on 29 December 2022.
