The framework conditions required for this should be sustainably strengthened and future-oriented in order to give young, motivated athletes the chance for sporting self-realization on a national and international level. At the state level, the promotion of young athletes has a special priority.
Together in the Competitive Sports Association, young talented athletes are supported with effective support measures and optimally accompanied on their sporting, academic and professional development path.
Through the targeted cooperation of the partners involved in the long-term development of performance, the performance potential in young and high-performance sports can be fully exploited. For an effective competitive sports system in Saxony-Anhalt, the concentration on main sports and promotional sports is decisive. Depending on the classification of the sports, specific support measures take effect at this point. The basis for the promotion of sports forms the implementation regulation (AVO) of the Sports Promotion Act (SportFG) and the criteria of the current competitive sports concept.
Competitive sport in Saxony-Anhalt stands behind all measures for doping-free sport and does not tolerate any manipulations in its area of responsibility. It supports the measures of the DOSB and NADA by contributing financially to the doping controls and organizing prevention work in its organizational structures. At the same time, he distances himself from all forms of extremism, racism, anti-Semitism, drug and alcohol abuse and sexual violence.
