YPF’s support for Argentine sports is still in force and deepens in different disciplines. In an event held at the offices of the national company, The signing of the contract that will keep the Argentine Basketball Confederation and YPF united for another year and a half was made official. Players, leaders and executives of the company were part of it. In this way, YPF will display its brand on the chest of the national jersey.

The contract will be extended for another year and a half.

“This renewal is the deepening of the commitment we made with Argentine sports. That is why we will continue as sponsors of Argentine basketball, which has very important sporting challenges ahead of it, and there we will be accompanying both the Men’s and Women’s National Teams, which are currently competing in the South American Championship,” explained Santiago Carreras, Manager of Institutional Affairs and Communication at YPF. .

And he added: “We did it with soccer, hockey, tennis, volleyball and we will continue with national basketball. Argentine sport carries the values ​​that YPF wants to transmit as a flagship company”.

Carreras received at the YPF offices Facundo Campazzo and Marcos Delía, leaders of the Argentine National Team that will face a new FIBA ​​window and the AmeriCup, along with Néstor García, coach of the selected team, and Fabián Borro, president of the Argentine Basketball Confederation.

This 2022 is a year of much movement for Argentine basketball. In the women’s branch, the U18 South American Championship and the FIBA ​​Americas U18 were organized in Buenos Aires. Also, the South American Seniors will be held until August 6 in San Luis where Argentina defends the title. Meanwhile, the men’s team faces the FIBA ​​Qualifiers for the 2023 World Cup with an upcoming match window against Canada (visitor) and Bahamas (locals in Mar del Plata).
