Peruvian badminton had an important presence in the Junior Pan American Championship, which was held in the Dominican Republic, where the national exponents added nine bronze medals in the sub-13, sub-15, sub-17 and sub-19 categories.
Adriano Viale was twice on the podium by winning two bronze medals: one in men’s doubles with Sharum Durand and another in mixed with Rafaela Munar.
Among the younger categories, Valentina Carrillo and Ariana Munar stood out with their medal in Doubles in the sub-13 category.
