A former Trail Blazers player dies at the age of 25

American basketball player Caleb Svonigen, who played for the National Basketball Association (NBA) two years ago, has lost his life.

In 2017, the Portland Trail Blazers made their first round with number 26. In total, the player played 75 games in the NBA Main Event, representing Trail Blazers and Sacramento Kings. Svonigen’s account averaged 2.3 points and 2.9 rebounds. He played in the last match of the league on March 10, 2020.

Meanwhile, in December 2020, the former NBA player was arrested in Indiana. Police are reported to have found 1.5 kilograms of marijuana and cash in his car. In May 2021, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 180 days in prison. The media also pointed out that since the last match, Svonigen’s weight has increased by almost 70 kilograms, exceeding 181 kilograms.

Swanigen’s problems were also reported in the media, and Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard called for the Americans in a difficult situation not to do so. The circumstances of the former basketball player’s death have not been revealed. He was only 25 years old.
