The Cebé guarantees another 250,000 euros of budget this year

FC Cartagena CB has a guaranteed budget of 250,000 euros to compete next season in the third category of Spanish basketball: the LEB Plata. The board headed by David Ayala has held various meetings in recent weeks with public administrations, which guarantee financial support similar to that of the previous year. The Cebé intends to stretch it a little more, if it knocks down the door of strong sponsors. Efesé, whenever possible, will study increasing its support if any urgency is needed.

The Cartagena basketball team already has 150 subscribers for the next season. The campaign was launched just a week ago, with very popular prices of 20 euros for the general public and 10 for children. The objective is to maintain, at least, the thousand supporters of the previous course. In any case, a great advance is expected when Efesé launches its cards for sale.

It must be remembered that Cartagena’s basketball lived for three decades away from the professional categories. And he returned a year ago, also managing to qualify for the promotion phase to Gold. Cebé filled the Palacio de Deportes in the last match against Basket Navarra.

The board is busy these days with the economic plan for the 2022/23 season. The competition begins on October 8 and the organization of pre-season matches at the Palace that are attractive to spectators is already being studied.

On the 30th, deadline

Before, the directive prepares the entry of 67,500 euros. This amount must be paid as a deadline until June 30. A large part (50,000) corresponds to the endorsement required by the Federation to compete in LEB Plata; the rest (17,500) are necessary to register the team in this category. The guarantee is returned later.
