Bottas raises fifty thousand euros for charity with bare buttocks photo

Valtteri ‘Bott-ass’ has raised more than fifty thousand euros for charity within 24 hours by selling a photo of his bare behind. Those who are still looking for a copy unfortunately come home from a cold fair. It was a one-time offer, according to the Finn.

A few days after the Miami Grand Prix, Bottas posted a photo on Instagram in which he poses naked in a stream. The photo was taken in Aspen, Colorado and logically quickly went viral. It has now become apparent that it was not just a snapshot. The Alfa Romeo driver has let it be known that the playful promotion was devised to raise money for charity.

Fifty thousand euros

“It was for a good cause,” Bottas told Sky Sports F1† “We sold copies of the photo for 24 hours and more than 5,000 people bought an image of my ass,” he said with a laugh. “We have raised fifty thousand euros for charity. I earn well with my buttocks.”

Hamilton interested

One of those 5,000 people may well be former Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton. The seven-time world champion said he was interested: “I would certainly do that for a good cause”, he said. “I didn’t know they were for sale, but it’s one of the best photos I’ve ever seen.”
