FC Twente no longer has to count on a longer stay from Michel Vlap. The club from Enschede hoped to hire the attacking midfielder from Anderlecht for another year.
However, the Belgian club has indicated that it does not want to rent out Vlap for another season, Tubantia reports. FC Twente does not have the financial means to sign Vlap definitively.
The 24-year-old midfielder wanted to play another year in De Grolsch Veste and experience European football with FC Twente. Vlap still has a contract until the summer of 2024 in Brussels. He has had five goals and two assists this season.
