Second Daniele Dallera of the Corriere della Sera, Ettore Messina and Olimpia Milano would have identified Nicolò Melli as the right player to make the roster make a further qualitative leap.
The winger, currently in the NBA Playoffs with the Dallas Mavericks, will become a Free Agent at the end of the season.
According to the reporter, Messina would have contacted the player’s agent several times.
Once the LBA playoffs are over, the Messina-Stavropoulos duo will try to bring Melli back to Milan.
Dallera also considers the confirmations of Shavon Shields and Kevin Punter to be certain.
In 23 regular season games with the Dallas Mavericks, Melli averaged 3.9 points and 2.8 rebounds.
