Hai Van Ward Hosts Phu Dong Sport Festival with Nine Events

Student athletes in Hai Van Ward took to the fields and tracks on November 6 and 7 as the community launched its Phu Dong Sportfestival, according to local reports. The multi-day youth sports gathering featured nine events and athletic demonstrations designed to foster physical fitness and school camaraderie.

Nine Events Spotlight Youth Athletics and STEM Competitions

The festival’s schedule stretched across two action-packed days, offering a mix of traditional sports and modern educational challenges. Competitors tested their abilities in 5-a-side minivoetbal, track and field athletics, badminton, long jump, chess, and tug-of-war. Alongside the physical matches, organizers integrated a STEM competition, a ceremonial parade, and structured cardiotraining sessions to broaden the educational scope of the event.

Organizing officials handed out flowers and commemorative banners to each participating team during the ceremony to mark their involvement. The sports contests gave students a structured platform to connect and compete, while kindergarten aerobics routines infused the grounds with a lively, upbeat energy.

Hai Van Ward Promotes Student Physical Training and Discipline

Behind the matches and medals lies a local objective. Through the Phu Dong Sportfestival, Hai Van Ward aims to champion a broader physical training movement modeled after the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh. The festival provides a healthy, productive environment where students can strengthen their overall health, develop their physical condition, build solidarity, and develop discipline.

By blending traditional athletic competition with modern academic challenges like STEM events, the ward continues to shape a well-rounded extracurricular calendar for its student population.
