A 35-year-old man remains hospitalized following a violent altercation over parking access on Corso Secondigliano in Naples, while a second, separate shooting incident in Boscoreale left a 27-year-old injured. Both incidents, which occurred during the night of November 4 to November 5, 2026, are currently under investigation by the Carabinieri, according to reports from napoli.corriere.it.
Assault on Corso Secondigliano
The incident in Naples began when a 35-year-old man attempted to enter his apartment building and found a vehicle obstructing the entrance. According to an initial reconstruction reported by napoli.corriere.it, the man asked the vehicle’s owner to move the car, saying, “Can you move? I need to get in.”
The request triggered a physical confrontation. The driver allegedly escalated the dispute by attacking the 35-year-old with a baseball bat. Emergency services transported the victim to the CTO hospital, where he was admitted for treatment. As of the latest reports, the man is not in life-threatening condition and is awaiting a CT scan to determine his full prognosis. Carabinieri from the local mobile patrol and the Stella Operational Nucleus are working to identify the assailant.

Shooting Incident in Boscoreale
Approximately one hour after the Naples assault, a second violent episode took place in Boscoreale. At approximately 2:45 a.m. on November 5, a 27-year-old man was struck by a gunshot to his right flank while near a bar on Via Parrella. napoli.corriere.it reports that the injury followed a verbal argument between the victim and other customers at the establishment.
The identity of the person who fired the weapon remains unknown, and the specific motivations for the dispute are still under investigation. The victim was taken to the hospital in Boscotrecase. Medical staff have indicated that his condition is not considered life-threatening. Carabinieri from the Torre Annunziata company have secured the scene and are conducting inquiries to reconstruct the events of the night.
Ongoing Investigations
