Join NFL Watch Party in Munich for Patriots vs. Lions

The Detroit Lions are bringing their first international game in a decade to Munich on Nov. 15, 2026, where they will face the New England Patriots in the NFL’s latest International Series matchup, detroitlions.com reported.

Munich Game Week Activations and Fan Fest Plans

The Detroit Lions organized a multi-day slate of fan events across Munich leading up to the Nov. 15 kickoff, detroitlions.com reported. Ford Field on the Road will take over Odeonsplatz for a Detroit Lions Fan Fest presented by Ford on Nov. 13 and Nov. 14, running daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The two-day festival features family-friendly games, photo opportunities, giveaways, beer and food trucks, and appearances from Lions Legends, cheerleaders, and mascots. Friday and Saturday evening schedules culminate with outdoor concerts starting at 5 p.m., headlined by Kevin Saunderson on Nov. 13 and Big Sean on Nov. 14.

“We are thrilled to bring the spirit of Detroit Lions fandom and the energy of Ford Field to Munich,” said Emily Griffin, Detroit Lions Senior Vice President of Marketing and Brand, according to detroitlions.com. “There is so much passion for our team around the world, particularly in Germany, and we’re eager to deepen the connection we have with our fans there.”

Global Fan Hub and Official Merchandise Locations

Global supporters can access the team’s new international fan hub, One Pride Worldwide, via detroitlions.com, with free access opening on Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. ET. Alongside Fan Fest, the organization scheduled a Lions Fan Pub at the Hofbräuhaus from Nov. 12 to Nov. 15, operating daily from 11 a.m. to midnight with live entertainment and special guest appearances. Retail pop-ups open for merchandise sales include a Lions Fan Shop at Marc O’ Polo on Theatinerstraße 11, running from Nov. 9 to Nov. 16, alongside the Fan Fest merchandise stands at Odeonsplatz. Eminem’s Mom’s Spaghetti food truck will also operate pop-up service during the Fan Fest days, serving pasta and sandwiches alongside exclusive collaborative merchandise.

Global Markets Program Background

The 2026 fixture builds on multi-year efforts by the franchise in the DACH region under the NFL’s Global Markets Program, which began in 2024, detroitlions.com reported. Previous international outreach from the club included introducing a mascot with a German flag-inspired mane named Leo Löwe, hosting international Thanksgiving watch parties, and launching youth football initiatives. Meanwhile, local supporters in Germany also organized regional gatherings, such as a watch party hosted by community organizers at Joe Champs am Rudolfplatz in Cologne for the Nov. 15 fixture, rausgegangen.de reported.
