Frattamaggiore: Man Under House Arrest Arrested for Drug Dealing

State Police in Frattamaggiore arrested a 30-year-old man who was allegedly continuing to traffic hashish and marijuana directly from his home while serving a house arrest sentence, ErgoTV reported.

Police Raid During House Arrest Operation

The operation unfolded when officers from the Frattamaggiore Commissariato conducted routine compliance checks at the suspect’s residence. Investigators caught the man in the act of handing a dose of narcotics to a visitor at his doorway. Police intervened immediately, detaining both the resident and the buyer. According to law enforcement reports, the buyer attempted to discard the newly purchased substance upon seeing officers, but police recovered the hashish.

Following the initial apprehension, officers executed a search warrant inside the apartment. The search yielded 78 grams of hashish, 12 grams of marijuana, a precision digital scale, four blades coated in narcotic residue, and various materials used for packaging doses. Authorities also seized 220 euros in cash, divided into assorted denomination banknotes.

Police Seize Narcotics and Arrest Resident for Distribution

The total weight of the narcotics recovered during the house search exceeded 90 grams. Investigators cataloged the items as direct evidence of illicit drug distribution. The presence of packaging materials, blades, and the digital scale indicated an active distribution operation operating out of the residential property.

Police formally arrested the 30-year-old resident on charges of illicit possession of narcotic substances with intent to distribute. Meanwhile, investigators subjected the buyer to an administrative sanction for possession of narcotics intended strictly for personal use.

Ongoing Local Enforcement in Frattamaggiore

The enforcement action forms part of a broader surveillance and anti-drug campaign led by the State Police across the Frattamaggiore area. Local law enforcement units continue to monitor individuals subject to restrictive measures, such as house arrest, to ensure compliance with judicial mandates.
