In the women’s singles final, Chloé Beaslas of TC Thuir captured the championship by defeating Cécile Spring of Tennis Padel des Fontaines. Beaslas, holding a 15/3 ranking, posted a 6/3, 7/5 victory over her opponent, who enters the tournament ranked 15/2. Organizers noted the outcome marks a first tournament victory for Beaslas, establishing momentum for future competition.
Alexandre Lime Prevails in Men’s Final After Three-Set Battle
The men’s singles division featured a struggle for the title between two 4/6-ranked competitors. Alexandre Lime of TC Villeneuve-de-la-Raho secured the trophy after a three-set match against Thomas Aubois of TC Saint-Estève, winning by a score of 6/7, 6/1, 6/1. Lime is a fixture of the tournament, having maintained a near-continuous presence over 14 years.
Community Atmosphere and Volunteer Efforts Define the Event
Beyond the competitive draws, matches unfolded within an atmosphere supported by the club-house hospitality and food service operations. Volunteers managed daily operations on-site, accommodating spectators who attended the fixtures in large numbers. Frédéric Cardona, president of the Tennis Club de Prades, highlighted the community focus of the competition during the closing ceremonies.
