The 2026 FIBA OPEN 3X3 Beijing Three-on-Three Basketball Open “Chengtong Securities” Cup finals concluded a two-day run at Sanlitun Taikoo Li, drawing squads from across the Chinese capital to battle for municipal titles and direct qualification to national competition.
Championship Matches Crown Beijing’s Best Teams
After completing a rigorous qualification path through city preliminaries at Tongzhou Leding Port and Shijingshan Shougang Park, 16 advancing teams plus four wildcard entries collided in the men's bracket. Meanwhile, tournament organizers introduced a women’s division for the first time, featuring eight competing squads.
When the final buzzer sounded on the outdoor courts, the Guolai Wanwan squad captured the men’s tournament crown. Beijing Jianyou finished as the runner-up, while Ranmeng Yi Dui claimed third place. In the newly established women’s bracket, the Jinglan Rose team hoisted the championship trophy, followed by Hepingli Wuxiao in second place and Bie Fang Wo Wo Hui Jinxin Zhang in third.
Both the men’s and women’s championship-winning clubs earned the right to represent Beijing at the national finals scheduled for November in Chongqing.

The municipal tournament operated under the guidance of the Chinese Basketball Association and was hosted by FIBA China. The Beijing Sports Industry Association and the Beijing Basketball Association handled organization duties.
Essential backing came from a broad coalition of municipal and corporate entities, including the Beijing Social Sports Management Center, the Beijing Urban Renewal Alliance, the Sanlitun Subdistrict Office of the Chaoyang District People’s Government, Chengtong Securities, and Sanlitun Taikoo Li.

By staging the championship weekend at Sanlitun Taikoo Li—a Beijing hub for fashion, lifestyle, and commerce—organizers tied competitive basketball directly into the city’s commercial and cultural veins. Last year’s municipal finals also took place at the same venue, cementing a growing tradition of blending high-energy urban sports with public retail spaces.
The tournament setup deliberately bypassed traditional indoor gymnasiums, moving action directly through commercial squares and neighborhood districts. This integration reflects Beijing’s ongoing strategy to merge sports competitions with tourism, culture, and retail, expanding public fitness options and boosting local consumer engagement.
