White Birch Academy’s judo team delivered a strong performance at the 53rd Tokachi High School Judo Spring Tournament held on April 19, 2026, at the Otaru Town Comprehensive Gymnasium and Martial Arts Hall in Hokkaido, Japan. The squad secured second place in the team competition while capturing gold medals in three individual weight classes, highlighting their depth and preparation for the upcoming Hokkaido High School Athletic Federation Tokachi Sub-Branch tournament.
According to the official tournament results reported by White Birch Academy, the team finished as runners-up in the team event, losing 1-2 to Obihiro Agricultural High School in the final.
