Vicente Martínez, president of the Real Federación Española de Tiro con Arco (Royal Spanish Archery Federation), expressed his gratitude for Andújar’s support, stating, “We should be grateful that a municipality like Andújar welcomes and supports us.”
Among the athletes competing are some of the world’s top names. Double world champion Andrés Temiño will be participating, alongside Elia Canales, his teammate in the mixed team world championship. Also competing is Pablo Acha, an Olympian who represented Spain at the 2024 Paris Olympics, as well as Javier Mérida and Diego Conde, members of the current Spanish team. The team roster will be finalized following the Andújar qualifier.
