Ronaldo: Al Nassr Exit Price & Future Options

The future Cristiano Ronaldo Of Al Nassr speculated in the midst of his strike action. If you choose to withdraw, CR7 can be redeemed at this price!

Ronaldo is reportedly still going on strike for Al Nassr. The 41-year-old striker is said to be absent against Al Ittihad, Saturday (7/2) early this morning.

This will be Ronaldo’s second strike. Previously, the player from Portugal was also absent against Al Riyadh, earlier this week.

Ronaldo was absent because he was said to be angry with the Saudi Arabian government, in this case the Public Investment Fund (PIF). The former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus player was annoyed because PIF was seen as showing favoritism to the clubs he owned.

PIF or Saudi Arabia’s wealth fund manager does have four giant clubs in the Pro League. Al Nassr, Al Ittihad, Al Ahli, and Al Hilal are under its auspices.

As the majority shareholder of the four giant clubs, PIF is considered ‘unfair’ by Cristiano Ronaldo. Al Nassrthe team he plays for, is said to have not received enough investment to bring in star players.

Al Nassr did not buy the same top players in the transfer market this January. Meanwhile, Al Hilal, which is co-owned by PIF, can continue to shop for stars, most recently landing Karim Benzema.

This is what made Ronaldo, the top scorer in the Champions League in Europe, annoyed and chose to go on strike. Now his future is directly in question.

Ronaldo, who has just signed a new contract until 2027, is said by Athletic to have a release clause of 50 million Euros, or almost IDR 1 trillion. This means that interested clubs can bring him in if they dare to redeem his clause.

Ronaldo’s future at Al Nassr is immediately gray, even though he has just signed a contract. Sources at Al Nassr also could not predict the star’s situation at the club.

At Al Nassr, Ronaldo has scored more than 100 goals since arriving in 2022. He is now still on a mission to score a thousand goals throughout his career, with only 39 goals left to make it happen.

Even so, Cristiano Ronaldo haven’t won the league at all. At the moment, Al Nassr still competing in the Saudi Pro League standings, in second place, below Al Hilal.
