Lot Archery Championship: Cadurcian Archers Win

This Sunday 1is February, the Gramat club and the departmental archery committee organized the departmental 18m archery championship in Biars-sur-Cère. In a somewhat special and unique format, the archers from Lot met in a sporting and festive atmosphere.

In the morning, after a series of ten ends serving as qualification, the archers met in “duels” to determine the champions by category. The archers of the 1re Compagnie d’arc de Cahors won four medals. Nina Jagueneau is Lot champion in U18 recurve. Didier Le Goff is Lot champion in S3H recurve bow. Eric D’Oliveira Rezende is Lot champion in S3 compound bow, and Loïc Arlot is 3e in S2H recurve bow.

In the afternoon, after young “scratch” duels, recurve men, recurve women, mixed compound bow, mixed bare bow, the best competed in the final in a match which took place in an “arena” and alternating shooting (Olympic Games format). The young Nina Jagueneau finishes 1re scratch women’s recurve bow. Congratulations to all champions and participants.
