Kempe Shines: Flyers Game Highlights & Stats

LOS ANGELES. Adrian Kempe, 29, continues to be hot in the NHL.

He was the best player on the court when the LA Kings defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 3-2 in Saturday’s matinee show.

– When Kempe plays like this, he takes over the games and is incredibly difficult to stop, commented former Kings player Daryl Evans in the TV broadcast of the game by FanDuel Sports Network in the USA.

With his two goals, Adrian Kempe reached the 20-goal milestone for the fourth time in his NHL career.

He scored 1-0 and 2-0 in the first seven minutes of the match and was then the one who played Quentin Byfield for the winning goal (3-2) after barely three minutes in extra time.

This means that Kempe scored 8 points, 5 goals and 3 assists, in his last six games.

In total, he is up to 44 points, 20 goals and 24 assists, after 53 games this season.

– It is not only the goals and performances that Kempe contributes. He does so much else on the ice as well, which lifts the Klings to success, noted Daryl Evans.

A statement that should make Tre Kronor’s federation captain Sam Hallam happy, as Kempe is one of the key players in the Swedish Olympic team to Milan in February.

Back star Drew Doughty was also involved and played Byfield for the winning goal. It was Doughty’s 700th point in a Kings jersey.
