Two days after the successful debut of the Blues, the big boys, the French XV U20 begins its campaign in the Six Nations Tournament this Saturday with the reception of Ireland U20, at the Aimé-Giral stadium in Perpignan.
The Bleuets, four-time champions (2009, 2014, 2018, 2025) and title holders, will be keen to get their quest for a fifth success off to a good start against an Irish selection which seems within their reach.
The latter finished last with only one victory in five matches, the perfect opposite of the record of the young Tricolores. Fourth in the U20 World Cup played last summer, the French XV enter the Tournament with the status of favorite.
The France U20-Ireland U20 match is scheduled to kick off at 8:45 p.m. this Saturday, February 7. The meeting will be followed live on television on the L’Equipe channel.
