Archery & Blowgun Weekend Activities

On the shooting range, not far from the CD6 district near Plan de Campagne, the Penne Archers intend to set the mood. And perform! This weekend, under the leadership of the club president, Odette Tamisier, they are preparing a major archery and blowgun competition. An indoor competition, which will take place at the Jean-Roure complex, to protect yourself from unpredictable weather.

The organizer makes a point of ensuring that the events are open to everyone, adults and children alike, so that everyone can learn or progress, over several distances, and try to democratize the sport a little more. And Odette Tamisier does not forget inclusiveness. “We have a handicap section, with adapted equipment, which allows visually impaired or blind people to be able to shoot“, she emphasizes.

For both archery and blowgun shooting, people who wish to participate can still register this Thursday, February 5. The tests will take place this Saturday, February 7 in the afternoon from 2 p.m. and this Sunday, February 8 from 9 a.m. and for the whole day.

Entrance will be free so that the public can come and encourage the archers and shooters or simply discover the discipline.
