The end of the 18m indoor shooting season is approaching and the results are very encouraging for the archers of the Arcs en Wrac’h association, in Landéda. The weekend of January 31 and February 1, during the regional youth championship organized in Quéven, a team of four U13s brilliantly represented the club. For her first year in this category, Maé Gruel became vice-champion of Brittany, following on from her title of champion of Finistère won the previous weekend, January 24 and 25, in Landerneau.
Still among the U13s, Paol Amis took a good 4th place for his first season in the category, while Nolan Dubouchet and Léo Le Gac were eliminated in the round of 16. In mixed doubles, Maé Gruel and Paol Amis stopped in the quarter-finals. A week earlier, during the Finistère championship played in Brest, the pair Maé Gruel – Nolan Dubouchet had already won a silver medal. The club also fielded a women’s team for the first time, made up of Sophie Le Gac, Mélanie Le Roy and Pénélope Vidart, who finished runner-up to Finistère.
Next step for Maé Gruel: the French Championships, scheduled in Yzeure from February 20 to 22.
