Alhaiya Cup: Semi-Finalists Confirmed – Bareilly News

Bareilly. Four quarter-final matches were played on Sunday in the ninth district level Teachers Tennis Cricket Tournament organized under the Late Ram Swaroop Gangwar Memorial Cup at Alhaiya Mini Stadium, Nawabganj. The teams of Bhuta, Shergarh, Bhadpura and Bahedi registered wins and made it to the semi-finals.

The first quarter final match was between Bhuta and Damkhoda. In this, Bhuta’s team became the winner by 33 runs. Bhuta’s Guneet was adjudged player of the match. The second match was between Shergarh and Rest Bareilly Stars. Shergarh won by 28 runs. Shergarh’s Furkan Ansari got the player of the match for scoring 74 runs in 33 balls.

The third match was played between Bhadpura and Bareilly Super Kings. Bhadpura became the winner by two wickets. Vijay Kumar of Bhadpura got the title of Player of the Match. In the fourth quarter-final match, the teams of Baheri and Ramnagar faced each other. Baheri won by 14 runs. Avneesh Gautam of Baheri was adjudged player of the match.

Tournament organizer Rajesh Kumar Singh said that the semi-final and final matches will be held at Alhaiya Mini Stadium from 9:00 am on February 15. Krishna Gangwar (village head Alhaiya), Bhanu Pratap Singh, Dinesh Chandra Pandey, Rama Shankar etc. were present as chief guests to watch the match.
