New defeat for Casademont Zaragoza, this time against Basquet Girona in the Príncipe Felipe pavilion (90-94). The Aragonese team started the game well, leading by up to 14 points in the second quarter, but after the break, one more day, they collapsed and ended up giving up. Santi Yusta’s 27 points and 30 rating credits were useless against the Catalan power, led by Hughes with 24 points.
The first quarter was played with great equality. Neither Casademont Zaragoza nor Basquet Girona managed to open a gap on the scoreboard, since both performed at a very even level. In the premises, Santi Yusta was the most outstanding at the beginning with 7 pointsbut the first set was scored by the visitors by four points (22-26).

The last quarter was played under total equality and emotion. The Catalans came out like a plane in this last act and thanks to a triple by Sergi Martínez they raised the score to 64-75. Ramírez stopped the match and Casademont managed to make up for it. Robinson and Bell-Haynes closed the gap… until Joaquín Rodríguez tied the score in the final stretch (84-84).
Despite this, Girona entered the last two minutes with a considerable advantage (84-92) thanks to a 0-8 run, which ended up being key to the visitors’ final victory (90-94).
