Youth Badminton Tournament | International Competition

The City of Schiltigheim, alongside Strasbourg, is pleased to welcome the elite of young French and European badminton players for the 6th edition of the Babolat French International Borders. A major international tournament organized by the Ligue Grand Est de Badminton, the BFIB 2026 will offer matches in the five badminton disciplines: Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and will welcome players in the categories: U11 (Poussins), U13 (Benjamins) and U15 (Minimes).

The 2025 edition had already brought together 330 players from 16 nationalities, playing more than 660 matches, with the support of 50 volunteers and the exceptional presence of Alex Lanier (French n°1, world n°7) who came to meet the young people. The 2026 edition looks even more promising!

On the sidelines of this competition, the International Girls Cup, also called IGC, will also take place in 2024 on the sidelines of the Babolat French International Borders. This new prestigious team competition brought together 6 of the best European nations for U15 girls last year.
