This Tuesday, football fans have the last chance to secure a ticket for the World Cup in the summer in the third sales phase of the 2026 World Cup. You can register for the random drawing on the World Football Association website fifa.com/tickets until 5 p.m.
For the first time, individual tickets are available for certain matches and teams in the group phase. If you don’t yet have a FIFA account, you must first register there. Selected applicants will later receive an email with a personal time slot in which World Cup tickets can be purchased.
Already more than 150 million ticket requests
The demand for the tickets is enormous: According to the World Football Association, more than 150 million ticket requests were received by halftime in this sales round alone – 30 times the number of available tickets. The Fifa speaks of the highest demand in World Cup history. With 48 teams and 104 games, it is also the largest tournament of all time.
Anyone who comes away empty-handed in the third sales phase has another chance to get tickets: at least a fourth sales phase is planned, the date of which has not yet been set. According to information from the dpa news agency, the next round is scheduled to start at the end of February or beginning of March.
