In addition to Alen Smailagic, Carsen Edwards is unavailable, recovering from a flu syndrome, and Alessandro Pajola is unavailable due to inflammation in his left knee.
The words of coach Dusko Ivanovic on the eve of the trip to Monte Carlo: “A difficult match because AS Monaco is a really strong team. A match made even more complex by the absence of Pajola, Edwards and Smailagic. But that’s fine, we have the mentality to try to play any match to win.”
Luca Vildoza on the match against Monaco: “A very complex match awaits us tomorrow: Monaco, especially at home, plays its best basketball, in a very physical way especially in defense and offensively they have many talented players and therefore this will have to keep us on our toes. For all these reasons it will be a tough match, also because playing away in the Euroleague is always very difficult, regardless of the opponent. For us this is a very important match, as they are all in this competition from now until the end. We have to think about one match at a time to be able to do it play it to the end and see what can happen.”
