United Cup: Greece next Swiss opponent

Switzerland’s opponent in the quarterfinals of the United Cup is Greece. After the win against Japan, Maria Sakkari (WTA 51) and Stefanos Tsitsipas (ATP 34) also defeated Great Britain. Belinda Bencic (WTA 11), who started the new year with two wins, is behind 1:2 in the head-to-head against Sakkari. Wawrinka and Tsitsipas have only met once before – in June 2019 at the French Open, when Romand won in five sets. The duel takes place on Wednesday in the evening session in Perth.
