Top 10 Most Expensive Football Players: No Brazilians?

O CIES Football Observatory published this Wednesday (7) a study with the estimated market value of the main players in world football. In the Top 10, however, there are no Brazilians.

The top of the list is Spanish striker Lamine Yamal, from Barcelonawhich is priced at 343.1 million euros (around R$2.1 billion at current prices).

The Norwegian completes the podium Erling Haaland, Manchester Cityand the French Kylian Mbappé, of Real Madridwith market values ​​set at 255.1 million euros and 201.3 million eurosrespectively.

In the Top 10, Real Madrid is the club with the most players, with three representatives: in addition to Mbappé there are Jude Bellingham and Arda Güler.

Still according to the CIES study, the most expensive player outside of Europe’s top five leagues is Vitor Roque, from Palmeiraswith a price valued at 85 million euros (R$534 million).
