ISTANBUL (TSA)-New generation investment bank Tera Bank became the main sponsor of the Turkish Insurance Basketball Super League. The signing ceremony of the cooperation was held with the participation of Turkish Basketball Federation President Hidayet Türkoğlu, Tera Bank Chairman Emre Tezmen and Tera Bank General Manager Özgür Altan. With the agreement covering the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 seasons, Tera Bank reinforced its support for Turkish basketball and young athletes with a long-term cooperation.
STRATEGIC COOPERATION COVERING TWO SEASONS
In the statement, it was emphasized that the sponsorship agreement highlights not only sporting achievements, but also the unifying power and social benefit of sports. It was stated that Tera Bank aims to bring together the basic values of basketball such as discipline, solidarity, leadership and quick decision-making with the financial world. The cooperation is aimed to contribute to the institutional and economic structure of the league.

Tera Bank Chairman of the Board of Directors, Emre Tezmen, stated that basketball has a unique culture and that this culture coincides with values such as determination, discipline and investing in talent at the right time. Tezmen stated that supporting basketball is not a marketing activity for Tera Bank, but a long-term and strategic choice.

Turkish Basketball Federation President Hidayet Türkoğlu stated that the Turkish Insurance Basketball Super League is among the most competitive leagues not only in Türkiye but also in Europe. Türkoğlu stated that they believe that this cooperation with Tera Bank will contribute to the economic and institutional stability of the league.
It was noted that the sponsorship agreement will increase the visibility of Turkish basketball in the international arena, as well as support the strengthening of a sustainable structure that inspires young athletes.
