Tay Abed: Levante’s Historic Transfer

The left winger Tay Abedwho has signed with the Levante until June 2029 from PSV Eindhoven, he becomes the first Israeli footballer to wear the Levante shirt.

The attacker, 21 years and with a Spanish passport, he signed his new contract with the Valencian team this Wednesday after Levante paid a small amount for the transfer to PSV Dutch.

In the history of Levante, founded in 1909, a player born in Israel had never played before, as confirmed by sources from the Valencian club.

The foreign footballer with the most appearances for Levante in the First Division is the Macedonian Enis Bardhiwho between 2017 and 2022 played 148 games and is the fourth player in the history of the Levante club who has played the most games in the top category, only behind José Luis Morales (271), Roger (179) y Juanfran (153).
