Schulz contributed a goal to Lyon’s 2-1 win over Brest, becoming man of the match and boasting in an interview for the club’s website: “I wish I could score goals all the time.”
The 25-year-old offensive all-rounder scored in the fifth of the last six competitive duels, a total of seven goals in this period. Since arriving from Pilsen in August, he has already scored 12 competitive goals in the Olympique jersey.
Šulc opened the scoring of the game just before halftime. He rushed at the goalkeeper Coudert himself, made a loop and from a great angle he headed exactly into the top corner. After an hour of play, he celebrated another goal, but his joy was thwarted by the video referee, who detected offside.

The price of the Czech star on the transfer market is rising. Lyon paid Plzeň 10 million euros (over 245 million crowns) for Šulec, now his value is two million euros higher according to the specialized portal Transfermarkt. And he continues to fly up.
“I’m sure that if he continues in the set trend, then next summer we can expect a big transfer for Pavel, maybe in the range of 40 to 50 million,” the player’s agent Andy Bara said on the Livesport Daily podcast.
